Anaya Kole

Anaya Kole, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C is a dual-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner, and the founder of ATM Mental Well-Being, LLC, a Kansas-based practice dedicated to thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care. She provides individualized treatment with attention to the real-life complexity that shapes mental health—because care should feel human, not rushed or transactional.

Anaya has extensive experience supporting patients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related concerns, complex mood disorders, and related challenges. She is known for a calm, grounded presence and a genuine commitment to helping patients feel heard and supported. Her approach is collaborative and non-judgmental, emphasizing patient autonomy, shared decision-making, and treatment plans tailored to each person’s goals and needs.

With nearly a decade of nursing and healthcare experience across acute, outpatient, and specialty settings, Anaya brings a broad clinical perspective to her work. She earned her PMHNP degree from Liberty University (2021) with a focus on outpatient psychiatric care, and completed her Family Nurse Practitioner training at Saint Luke’s College (2019) with a clinical emphasis in primary and urgent care. She also graduated cum laude with a BSN from Saint Luke’s College, where she practiced as a Neuroscience & Stroke Registered Nurse prior to advanced practice training. Earlier, she earned dual undergraduate degrees from the University of Missouri–Kansas City (2012)—a BS in Biology and a BA in Chemistry—strengthening her commitment to evidence-based clinical decision-making.

Her professional recognition includes being named Top Nurse in Kansas City, MO (2019), receiving the DAISY Award for nursing excellence (2018), and being recognized as a Nurse of the Year Award Nominee (2017). She was also inducted into the International Honor Society of Nursing (2014–2016).

Outside of practice, Anaya finds balance through cooking and music. She is a classically trained pianist, a lifelong animal lover, and enjoys collecting elephants. She and her husband share life across continents, embracing a transatlantic journey together.
